DHA ISLAMABAD MOBILE APP/Web PRIVACY POLICY

1. USER INFORMATION PRIVACY

Demographic and other personally identifiable information (such as your name and email address) that you voluntarily give to us when signing up on DHA Mobile Application are encrypted and secure in a way that no access to any third party is allowed.
 

2. DERIVATIVE DATA PRIVACY

Information our Mobile App automatically collect when you access the DHA Mobile Application, such as your location that are integral to the Application, camera access and basic info are not secure and not shared with any third party.
 

3. FINANCIAL DATA PRIVACY

No Financial data is stored in any way by DHA Mobile App.
 

4. MOBILE DEVICE ACCESS PRIVACY

We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s storage. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.
 

SECURITY OF USER PERSONAL INFORMATION ON DHA MOBILE RESIDENT APP

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.

This mobile application is for use in emergencies and complaints. It has been designed to help preserve your personal safety. You are strongly advised to read these Terms & Conditions carefully before downloading and using this mobile application.
 

HOW IT WORKS

This mobile application has two automatic modes of alerts, ‘Panic Alert’ and ‘Fire Alert’. In the case of emergency registered user can send the alerts by pressing the alert button for three seconds. This alert will receive in DHAI-R relevant department and authorities will handle the situation as per standard protocols. Registered users can submit the complaints and remain in touch with the complaint status. The complaints will receive in DHAI-R relevant department and authorities will handle the process. An interactive SMS feature is also available to enhance customer experience.

LOCATION SERVICE

You must be pre-agree with our location service conditions. For the actuation of accurate information our app will track your location through Global Positioning System (GPS), therefore you must enable your ‘Location Services’ for this purpose.
 

INTERNET SERVICE

You must be pre-agree with our internet service conditions. For immediate actuation of information our app uses internet service like (2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi etc.), therefore you must enable your ‘Internet Services’ for this purpose.
 

OTHER CONDITIONS

  1. Prior to your first use of the Application, you will be asked to create a User Account by using Membership number and consumer id.
  2. This mobile app is only for DHAI-R residents and only registered members can use this app.
  3. The features and services that are made available through this mobile application may be free or paid.
  4. Use the Application for occurrences which do not amount to an emergency.
  5. Use the SOS numbers in the Application unless there is a genuine need for it.
  6. The Application and Services are for your individual use. You shall not resell or commercialize the Application and/or Services to any third party
  7. Uploading of illegal material will be dealt as per law.
 

ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS

In order to download and use the application you must first accept these Terms. These Terms are accepted by you when you click on ‘Read Terms and Conditions’ label. These Terms remain effective from the date of acceptance.
 

CHANGES TO THE TERMS

DHAI-R may changes these Terms from time to time as well as its policies and will publish such changes at www.dhai-r.com.pk. The changes will be effective when published. Please keep yourself abreast of these changes by reviewing the Terms and visiting the website on a regular basis. You understand and agree that your express acceptance of the Terms or your use of the application and services after the date of publication shall constitute your agreement to the updated Terms and policies. If you do not agree with the amended Terms and policies, you may terminate your relationship.
 

UPDATES TO THE APPLICATION

This mobile application may automatically check installed version of the application. You may be required to enter into an updated version of these Terms to be able to download or otherwise take advantage of any Updates.
DHAI-R has been carefully programmed and extensively tested to ensure that this mobile application works efficiently. However, no software is hundred percent (100 %) reliable at all times.
DHAI-R cannot guarantee that the application and its services will always function without disruptions, delay or errors. A number of factors may impact the quality of your communications and use of the application and its services and may result in the failure of your communications including but not limited to: your local network, the public switched telephone network and your power supply. DHAI-R takes no responsibility for any disruption, interruption or delay caused by any failure of or inadequacy in any of these items or any other items over which we have no control.
